Agriculture today is heavily dependent on agrichemicals. Even those not involved in agriculture know that pesticides are used in virtually all crop cultivation, and that growing crops without the use of chemicals is very limited. Nonetheless, Mr Akinori Kimura already proof to the world that we can grow our crops in harmony with nature without the use of chemical fertilizer or pesticide, not to say genetic modified.

Genetically Modified Pets

As a vegan, we enjoy fresh vegetables & fruits including nuts or beans daily. So, we started to question the source of the crops. Then, we came across genetically modified (GM) crops. Our mind go upside down when we think of the scientist putting in some animals/insects/virus genes into our food! I will share more about GMO food in near future.
I am more surprise when I read an article from Care2 (http://www.care2.com/greenliving/genetically-modified-pets.html#) where scientists even genetically engineered (GE) our lovely pets genetic!
